Some people try to get their art supplies at regular stores, but this isn’t really recommended. At an art store you will have access to a much wider variety of supplies, and they will probably be nicer than those you will find at a regular store.

If you are on a budget, there are some different ways you can get discount art supplies. Looking for sales and clearances is one way, and searching thrift stores is another. You might be surprised what you will find for very low prices if you look.

At home, you should think about getting some kind of art supplies storage. You don’t want your supplies getting squished, tangled, or bent after you spend good money on it. Having art supplies storage for it will make it less likely that anything will happen to it.
