What is a camera obscura?

The camera obscura is a centuries old optical device. It involves an upside down reproduction of a scene which can be used for tracing or simply for viewing pleasure. It is attributed with being one of the inventions which lead to the development of photography.

What is gouache?

Gouache is a type of paint created from pigments suspended in water. However, it is different from watercolor in a few different ways. These include the fact that its pigment particles are larger and also a smaller ratio of the pigment compared to the water is used. Also, these paints make use of an additional white pigment, such as chalk.

What is a slave flash?

This is a camera flash which is triggered by a master flash. Multiple flashes can work together to light a subject matter much more thoroughly. That is the primary reason for the use of slave flashes.
